Manual Lymphatic Drainage
This is an advanced therapy in which the therapist uses a range of specialised and gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of lymph flow.
Each move can take several seconds to complete with an active and passive phase. This therapy has been used successfully in sinusitis, oedema and sprains.
